Lisa A Fifield's paintings will be featured at the National Museum of the American Indian at the Smithsonian in Washingtion D.C. The showing will start in October 2008 and conclude in December of 2008. Featured will be the illustrations appearing in all the Eagle Books series. The main focus is to raise awareness of Indian Diabetes, which is covered in all these books and illustrated by Lisa Fifield. The CDC sponsored these books to raise awareness amongst the native American population and bring a higher awareness of this growing concern.

Lisa and her brother Kurt Rusch, will be featured in an exhibition entitled "Legacy" date...... at...... curator Heid Erdrich Lisa A Fifield explains the show's theme and title "Legacy" are aptly derived as the exhibition will feature the fine pencil art work of her artist brother Kurt Rusch. Like the Wyeth Family, Lisa comes from an equally formidable family of talented artists. This show will feature the amazing life like pencil sketching, shading and drawing work of her brother Kurt Rusch as well as background regarding this family of talented artists.
